Clayton Arthur (1965) with YRBM-57 (2024)

On 20 January 2025, DeForge Maritime Towing’s ocean-going tug Clayton Arthur (IMO 6516934) arrived in Honolulu Harbor from San Diego, California with the United States Navy’s YRBM-57. They were assisted to Pier 29 by Foss Maritime tug Mikioi.

This particular YRBM (which stands for Yard-Repair-Berthing-Messing) barge was built by Conrad Shipyard in Amelia, Louisiana. YRBM barges provide in-port accommodation and work spaces for the crews of ships that are undergoing maintenance or repairs.
