Maritime Hawai‘i was a guest on board Foss Maritime’s tug Alta June (IMO 9552290). She was one of three tugs assisting Chevron tanker Polaris Voyager (IMO 9665748, 2014), outbound from Richmond Long Wharf, Richmond, California. The other two tugs were Foss Maritime’s Leisa Florence (IMO 9921752) and AmNav’s Z-Four (IMO 9194165).
Richmond Long Wharf is the marine terminal for ships and tank barges carrying petroleum products to and from the Chevron Richmond Refinery.
