Ghana Navy Ships
Two Ghana Navy ships, listed as GNS Half Assini and GNS Aflao on PortCall, were in Honolulu Harbor. Both are decommissioned Marine Protector-class United States Coast Guard cutters, which were used as patrol boats.
In May, both vessels were loaded aboard the Military Sealift Command-chartered cargo ship, Ocean Giant (IMO 9437335), which departed on 4 May 2023 for the Panama Canal.
