USCGC Joseph Gerczak (WPC-1126)
USCGC Joseph Gerczak was built by Bollinger Shipyards in Lockport, Louisiana.
She is named in honor of Joseph Gerczak, who was a Signalman Third Class in the United States Coast Guard. He was killed in action on 26 December 1943, while serving on board USS LST-66 (tank landing ship) during the attack on Borgen Bay, New Britain.
