On 6 July 2020, CMA CGM Group announced via a press release that it is making changes to its transpacific operations and that its subsidiary company, APL, is going to focus on US Government cargo.
APL’s Eagle Express X (EXX) service, which includes a fortnightly run to Hawai‘i, will be handled by CMA CGM. This means Honolulu Harbor will likely see more CMA CGM branded ships like CMA CGM Georgia.
