Mahimahi Returns

Matson’s Mahimahi was the second container ship, after Pasha’s Horizon Pacific, to return to Honolulu Harbor after the port was opened at 0900 on 25 August 2018.
Mahimahi had originally arrived on the afternoon of the 22nd. According to a press release from Matson, she was able to discharge 537 containers before she was required to leave on the morning of the 23rd due to the closure of the port prompted by the threat of Hurricane Lane. The 615 containers that remained on board were scheduled to be unloaded upon her return.
