Artist at Sea Exhibit
If you have not done so already, you still have time to check out the Artist at Sea exhibit, currently at The ARTS at Marks Garage.
The exhibit features work by Lucy Bellwood, Ben Cosgrove, Leslie Reed, Rebecca Rutstein, and Michelle Schwengel-Regala. The pieces were created at sea during the artists’ tenure on board RV Falkor and were inspired by the research and work being done by the scientists and crew of the vessel.
Maritime Hawai‘i will feature the Artist-at-Sea Program in a future article.
